Completely addictive.I am a huge Granite Lake Wolves fan, and the newest addition, Wolf Tracks, absolutely satisfied. These short novellas are perfect when you have a little peace and quiet and just want to escape into a fantasy full of hot men, strong women and a community where loyalty and love abounds. Full of humor, steamy hot monkey (or should I say wolfy?) sex, and plenty of tension, my time always slips away as I rejoin my pack for a few hours.
TJ, the Alpha's little brother, has always been the clumsy goof who everyone loves and counts on. With a heart as big as Canada, TJ longs to find the woman he was meant to share his love with forever.
Pam came to Granite Lake to celebrate her best friend's wedding, clueless that all those in attendance were wolf shifters. When the best man, TJ, bumps into her, she begins to tingle and the beginning of a connection is born. Of course TJ recognizes exactly what is happening, he's found his mate. What would normally be a simple, straightforward situation becomes complicated by the fact that Pam is human. Will she accept him?
TJ has always been the endearing one in the stories, so it is delightful to see him come into his own. Not only does he prove to be a competent protector, his keen intellect serves him well as he strategizes to prove to Pam that they belong together. It was nice to see Pam point out all his strengths when he is used to being the butt of many jokes.
There were so many endearing ways the two clicked, but I think my favorite was their easy humor and snarkiness with each other. And when that boy started singing for her.... *swoon*. It was such a delight to see big bad cop Pam fall hard for sweet TJ. But then who could resist a charming man with a perfect backside for long?
Although this is book four in the series, it will stand alone with ease. When you've read the previous books, it is fun to see what each of the couples are up to, but there isn't necessary background information you will miss. If you have a few hours to slip away, grab a cup of tea and head off to Granite Lake to hang with my pack. Enjoy!

Wolf Tracks Granite Lake Wolves Book 4 edition by Vivian Arend Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
Great set
don't remember reading any of these books.
Was as wonderful as I remembered it, not much has changed from the original 2010 version, some editing changes and line changes. But really the added content is a bonus scene at the end that was cut from the 2010 version. Hope this helps
This book was amazingly amazing! I've wanted to know more about TJ as he has been a presence in each book, and I'm happy to know more about him. I also enjoyed reading about Pam since I enjoyed her sassiness from the last book. TJ and Pam together is just magic. Their story was funny, unbelievable, romantic and sexy.
This was a good entry in a fun series...the funny, non-horrifying type of paranormal shifter romance story. No big heavies involved...no big story arc, just a tale to get told. More like a light romance with paranormal elements in this case. Oh, and some explicitness with regard to the 'adult behavior'.
For anyone new to the series this is the 4th--and I would definitely recommend starting with the first entry. TJ's character is a hoot but Wolf Tracks works well because we already know him. I think he'd seem pretty bland and boring if you didn't know what he was like already! It sure was nice to see him find his mate and he was a good choice for a character to write about.
Pam is also more fun than most random females thrown to the wolves, so to speak. One problem I had with Tracks though is that Pam's acceptance of the big reveal of the 'I'm a hottie and, well, I can change into a wolf' is pretty darn fast. Really fast. More skepticism seems in order, but oh well. I felt that way for the first story of the series as well (Wolf Signs), but I understand it given the novella format.
Also, I thought Pam's background was pretty cool too and if this had been a longer story more could be made of it. As it is the ending leaves me wondering, well, now what? How is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police dog trainer going to go back to work mated to a werewolf? Does she quit and start working in her new family's business somehow? Her old family's drama could have been more interesting too, or left out so it didn't raise questions.
If the world was run according to my rules, this story would have been a full blown novel, but sadly, it's only a novella, sigh. I guess that's not too bad of a complaint though...'I wish there was more', but a truly great novella wouldn't make me fell that way I suppose.
This is the exact kind of title I have trouble sticking to the 5 star system...it begs for the point five addition. I like to rate based on my enjoyment of the story, writing quality, sticking to the genre and intent, and being suited to the format. I would love to give a 4.5 here, but have to choose--fun story in a fun/light series about a character I have wanted to see more of--definitely up for 5 stars there (no it's not classic, heavy literature, but that is not the goal here!). 4 stars due to the part about it not really quite fitting the format--things feel like they need to be fleshed out a little better. An finally, poor TJ is mostly interesting from the earlier stories...as a stand alone he just needed more.
So, on balance I am giving the 4 stars--but truly this is a fun light romance type of series and is on the recommend list and it was a worthwhile purchase. Hopefully there will be more from the Granite Lake Wolves, and if there are, I'm buying them.
JTG
PS who am I kidding, if it was a 10 star rating system I'd still be trying for adding half stars...and still complain. 8.875. There you go.
I love these wolf pack books! The characters are real and flawed and lovable! The stories, are sexy and fun and a little bit silly. Great relaxing reading.looking forward to the next in the series now!
I've been waiting for this book, TJ is so endearing and clumsy, you have to love him. When Pam Quinn comes in for her friend Maggie's wedding, she couldn't believe the hunks who were part of the wedding. Since Pam is human, Maggie can' tell her that all the men are wolf shifters. When TJ meets Pam he knows - this is his mate. Of course having a mate who is human is hard to believe but in spite of comments from his Alpha and other pack members - he knows. When they tell him to wait TJ decides to take matters into his owns hands. Pam is taking a hiking tour of the area and TJ is one of the guides. If he can arrange some one on one time for them he's sure he can make her feel the same way he does. Hope no disasters happen! Great and funny read!
Completely addictive.
