This story is well researched and it preserves the history that was common to that period. Well done! For all those relish a detailed trip to our past.
This is not only a page turner that I couldn't put down. It should be required reading for all descendants of Irish immigrants to make us better understand the tremendous and almost unbelievable sacrifices which many of our Irish ancestors made so that we could have a better life. The story is filled with drama and emotion and action packed throughout. I highly recommend.
Great read, being from the Buffalo area it was fun trying to identify the places and sites in the book.
I truly enjoyed this book with in it self was a very good story. Plus with the history of Buffalo in 1880 was very interesting, especially living in area.
